As the head chief of the Plastic Surgery Department at the

Emergency University Hospital of Bucharest and a member

of the university's senate, my role encompasses a wide range

of responsibilities and opportunities for impact.

Every day, I am privileged to work closely with residents

and students, guiding them through the intricacies of

plastic surgery and helping shape the next generation of surgeons.

I find great fulfillment in sharing my knowledge, expertise, and

practical experience with aspiring surgeons.
Whether in the operating room or the classroom, I strive to provide

comprehensive education and mentorship, nurturing their growth

and instilling in them the values of compassion and excellence.
Seeing them develop into skilled and compassionate practitioners is immensely rewarding.

Beyond my role in education, I am actively involved in shaping the direction of the university as a member of the senate.

I contribute to important decisions regarding academic policies, curriculum development, and institutional governance, ensuring that our university remains at the forefront of medical education and research.

Moreover, I am honored to coordinate significant projects at the European level, where I collaborate with colleagues from different countries to advance the field of plastic surgery. These projects range from research initiatives to cross-border medical exchanges, all aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation on an international scale.
